CONSULTANCY WORK

Louisa Reynolds has worked as a freelance consultant for a variety of think tanks, international NGOs and aid agencies. In 2021, Reynolds was hired as part of the team that produced the regional report on attacks against journalists “Situación de violencia contra mujeres periodistas en América Latina”, for Mexican NGO Comunicación e Información de la Mujer (CIMAC).

Earlier, the same year, Reynolds produced a series of articles about the programs funded by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UN-OHCHR) in Guatemala.

In 2018, Reynolds produced an investigation on the political economy of counterfeit medicines in Guatemala for Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime.

Previously, Reynolds reported on Guatemala’s Universal Periodic Review at the UN for Plataforma Holandesa Contra la Impunidad / Diakonia, wrote articles on youth development for AWO International’s magazine, and designed a communications strategy for USAID’s initiative “Diálogo Para la Inversión Social en Guatemala”.
